This week, one of our Xavier Students is participating in the Act for Peace ‘ Ration challenge’.
Emily-Jane McClifty will eat only rationed values of food of what Syrian refugees are given; just a small amount of rice, flour, lentils, chickpeas, beans, tofu and oil. The photo below shows an example meal Emily-Jane will eat this week and her rations for the week.
I think its a great opportunity to be able to experience what little the Syrian refugees have and to be be grateful for what we have
We want to take moment to congratulate Emily-Jane for participating in this great cause and for the money you have raised.
