


During XVL a collection of Year 8 Artists have been exploring and learning about Pop Artist Roy Lichtenstein, who questioned what art was and what it could be.
He was responsible for creating cartoon, comic strip-like artworks, which saturated mass media during the 1950s and 1960s. Students had a turn at depicting consumer products using Roy Lichtenstein's signature style, which included thick black outlines, bright and flatly applied colour, dotting and white highlights.
