

We are exploring the unique characteristics of biomes and their capacity to support food production. Students have established research teams to test the impact of climate, soil and vegetation on the productivity of biomes.
Students have planted seeds or seedlings, simulating various conditions, in their own gardens at home. The work that 9HSG have put together so far is to be commended. We will continue to monitor the progress of these plants to then share our data as a class and draw conclusions about what foods can, and should, be grown in which biomes and, therefore, locations around the world.
