Smoking Ceremony
On Wednesday the 14th of October, our First Nation students took a moment to participate in a Smoking Ceremony in our Yarning Circle.
We welcomed Mr Joshua Sly and Mrs Julie Waddell from the Jarara Indigenous Education Unit to lead our students through this, it was a great way to celebrate our First Nation 2021 School Captains and a beautiful cleansing ceremony in our dedicated Yarning circle.
