Movember
Today was the first meeting of the Movember team, these students and teachers are making the commitment to raise money and awareness of men's mental health in our community, the cause also raises awareness for suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. An important cause and important conversation to have.
By growing a Mo, we hope it can act as a symbol to start conversations about mental health that wouldn't normally happen. The aim is to make mental health a topic which is normal for us to talk about. After the year we've had, we at Xavier believe that everyone needs to be aware of each other's mental health and take care of each other. No one should feel like they have to deal with the world on their own.
